Hello Jaguars! I am Chloe Carpenter, and I am so excited for another great year here at Journey Middle School.  I was born and raised in Hartselle, AL, right down the road from Madison. I graduated from Athens State University with my degree in Social Science with a minor in Secondary Education and Educational Technology in the fall of 2021. I completed my Master's Degree from the University of West Alabama in Learning, Design, and Technology in the fall of 2024 . I will be teaching 6th grade US History and 7th grade Geography, and serving as one of the JMS Competition Cheer Coaches this upcoming school year! 

Outside of teaching, I am very involved in my home church and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love reading, cooking, exploring new music, traveling, and all things Disney. 

I am very passionate about making history fun and relevant for each of my students. My goal is to encourage students to be their best selves by becoming critical and creative thinkers. I enjoy building a positive rapport with my students and supporting them inside and outside the classroom. I look forward to a great school year! Go Jags!
