Education 

Mrs. Bounds received her Bachelor's degree in Choral/Vocal Music Education from the University of Alabama in 2018. Additionally, she earned her Masters of Music Education through a summer program at Mississippi State University in 2021. 

Experience 

Mrs. Bounds has 6 years of experience as a choir teacher. Prior to coming to Discovery, she taught at both Austin Middle School and Austin Junior High School in Decatur, Alabama. This is her first year teaching choir at Discovery! 

Biography 

Mrs. Bounds has lived in many places but is proud to call Alabama home. In addition to being a teacher, she still actively performs with professional choral ensembles throughout the state, including the Cahaba Chamber Chorale based in Birmingham, AL. Her hobbies include reading and gardening. She lives with her husband, Brandon, and their rescue dog, Luke.
