Education : Mrs. Melia graduated from Cedaredge High School located in Cedaredge, Colorado in 2010. Mrs. Melia then attended the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!) where she earned her bachelors in Special Education K-12 in 2016. She returned to the Univeristy of Northern Colorado to earn her masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2019. 

Experience: Mrs. Melia has been teaching in special education classrooms since 2016. Classrooms have varied from pull-out style classes to co-teaching mathematics and ELA. Mrs. Melia enjoys being in all levels of classes but holds middle school near and dear to her heart. 

Biography: Mrs. Melia is from a small town in Colorado. She married her high school sweetheart in 2018 and went on to have 2 children, Calvin and Charlotte. Mrs. Melia enjoys watching football and baseball as well as playing golf and volleyball. She coached volleyball for the majority of her college career and early in her teaching career, but took a break when she had her children. Mrs. Melia loves reading Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
