Mr. Shelton earned a Masters Degree in Career and Technical Education in Leadership from Athens State University and Bachelors Degree in Collaborative/Special Education (6–12) from Alabama A&M University, Normal, Alabama.

Experience

This is Mr. Shelton's sixth year as a collaborative teacher at Discovery Middle School. Prior to accepting the Collaborative Teacher position at Discovery Middle School, he completed his internship/student teaching at Bob Jones High School (October 2018–December 2018) and Discovery Middle School (August 2018–October 2018). Mr. Shelton has 5 years of experience coaching the Discovery Middle School Football Team and 5 years of experience coaching the DMS Baseball Team.

Biography

Mr. Shelton is a native of Madison, Alabama; he has been a Madison resident his entire life. He graduated from Bob Jones High School in 2013. During his high school career, he played football for the BJHS Patriots. After graduating from Bob Jones High School, he attended Alabama A&M University, where he earned a Collaborative/Special Education (6–12) degree, and played football.
