With a Master’s Degree in Education and 13 years of experience, I specialize in project-based and creative approaches that aim to make Math interactive, accessible, and meaningful for all students. I have taught grades 6-8, Accellerated 6-8, and Algebra in Marshall County, Madison County and Fairhope, Alabama. I am a Certified Teacher Leader with Southern Regional Education Board and am a member of National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. 

 

I have one lovely daughter who made Pittsburgh, PA her home after completing her graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University.

 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy traveling, arts and crafts, and spending time outdoors. I share most of my adventures with Disco, my trusty Cattle Dog companion, who loves to play fetch and go for car rides.
