Hello! My name is Matthew Klima, and I am thrilled to join the Journey Middle School team as a first-year school teacher. I am originally from Oak Harbor, Ohio, and recently graduated from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a deep passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for all students. I believe in the power of education to inspire and empower young minds, and I am dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, exploring nature, and spending time with family and friends. I am excited about bringing my enthusiasm, creativity, and love for learning into the classroom. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families as we embark on this exciting educational adventure together.
