My education and coaching journey has been a super amazing one. I am excited to be Journey’s Learning Academy Teacher, Head Girls’ Basketball Coach, Assistant Volleyball Coach, and Assistant Athletic Director. I have a Physical Education degree from Athens State University and a Master's in Education from the University of West Alabama. I have 9 years of teaching and coaching experience, teaching various electives: Physical Education, Health, and Marketing. I coached Track and Basketball at the varsity level for 8 years. 

I have three amazing children, a bonus daughter, and a sweet grandson: Tyon, Melissa, Omari, Makenzie, and Zoey. Our family values quality time and beach vacations. I’m looking forward to year 2 as a Journey Jag.
