I am a gradute of Alabama A&M University where I received a Bachelor of Science  degree in Elementary Education.

I began teaching in  1989. I have taught First Grade for 29 years and I have also had the pleasure of spending 29 years at West Madison Elementary School and 3 at Midtown Elementary. 

I am the mother of three beautiful daughters whom I am very proud of. My hobbies are horse back riding and roller skating.
