Hello Friends! My name is Emily Giese. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience my first year teaching at West Madison Elementary! I recently graduated in May 2020 from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in K-6 education!

I am originally from Elberton, Georgia, where I lived for sixteen years before moving to Scottboro, Alabama to finish my final two years of high school at Scottsboro High School. I am so excited to return to the north Alabama area where I can be close to my family as well as be a part of the West Madison family! First grade is such an exciting time and I cannot wait to meet all of my students to welcome them into my classroom with a loving heart. I understand the love and care that Madison City has for their students and hope to express the values of this wonderful school district in my classroom as we learn and grow together this school year!

Some fun facts about me: I love swimming, shopping, Georgia Football (Go Dawgs!!!), spending time with my family and friends, and all things Disney!!!
