Greetings! My name is Shasta Baker and I am elated about being a member of the Wildcat family! Within my career, I have had the pleasure of teaching students in special education and first through third grades in Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Ohio. This is my seventh year as a school counselor and my first year serving the students and families of Midtown Elementary School. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Urbana University (OH), Master’s degree in School Counseling from Mississippi State University (MS), and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama.My goal is to collaborate, empower, and support students, families, and teachers. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My son will begin
his second year of high school.
