IN OUR 4TH GRADE ERA! 

My name is Bree Beckwith and I am so excited about teaching 4th grade math and science at Midtown Elementary! I am originally from Huntsville, but moved to Birmingham after college. I graduated from the University of Alabama with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and from the University of West Alabama with my master's degree in Elementary Education. I have taught math for the last 6 years in Birmingham, Alabama in grades 5th, 4th, and kindergarten! When I was in elementary school, my favorite grade was 4th grade because I loved the things we learned, and most importantly, I loved my teacher! My goal is to make all of my students have that same LOVE for 4th grade (especially 4th grade math). 

I am very passionate about making learning meaningful and fun! When I am not at school, I spend my time playing games, working out, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family. I spent my summer by the pool and planning a wedding! I will be Mrs. Forrest come April! 

2024-2025 IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SCHOOL YEAR YET! GO WILDCATS!
