Hey everyone!!

My name is Anna Mitchell, and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade ELA/SS this year! This is my second year at Midtown. I graduated from Auburn University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my Master's degree from LSU in Curriculum and Instruction. I grew up in Madison, AL and went through Madison City Schools! I had the best teachers growing up, some of whom I work with now, who really inspired me to become an educator myself. 

I live with my sweet puppy, Nash, and my cat, Fira. I played volleyball growing up and now have the privilege of coaching at Discovery and for a club team in Huntsville! I love to read, go to concerts, and spend time with my family!

This year is going to be amazing!!
