I am so excited about teaching 5th grade science and social studies this year at Midtown! Previously, I taught middle school math in both Madison City and Huntsville City Schools. Before moving to Huntsville in 2016, I was an administrator at a private school in Naples, Florida. Before moving to Naples in 2012, I taught fourth and fifth grades at Tuscaloosa City and County Schools. 

I graduated from the University of Alabama with my degree in Elementary Education in 2005. Fast-forward to 2011, I graduated with my master's degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama. 

My husband and I have been married for 21 years. We have three children: 21(Alissa), 18(Lucas), and 12(Kaleb) and a dog named Fern. When not working, I love to cook for my family, read books, and spend time outdoors.
