Hi! I am so excited to be a part of the 4th grade team at Midtown Elementary! I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies alongside Mrs. Post, who teaches Math and Science. Together, we make a great team and we look forward to teaching all of our amazing 4th graders each day!

I grew up in Oklahoma and received my undergraduate degree from Oklahoma City University in 2012. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the Madison, Alabama area when I married my husband, Kyle. I spent the next few years working with children, youth, and adults at a local church. Over time, I decided that I could use those gifts and skills in the education field, so I changed career paths. I received my Masters of Education in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2021 from the University of West Alabama. I joined the Midtown Elementary team in 2022 and couldn't be happier to be a wildcat!

My husband is also a teacher at Sparkman High School. We have two sons, Cohen and Brooks, and one dog, Bella. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, visit Oklahoma, bake, nap, and play board games.
