I am thrilled to be serving as the Principal at Midtown Elementary. I attended Madison City Schools for my K-12 education; I am a graduate of Bob Jones High School. I hold a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I was also a collegiate athlete and played volleyball at UAB. 

My years of teaching experience include first and third grade at Harvest Elementary School, as well as 5th grade at Columbia Elementary School. After teaching for many years, I left the classroom to become a MAAP administrator before becoming the Assistant Principal at Rainbow. I then had the opportunity to serve as the principal at West Madison before transitioning to Midtown. 

My husband, Kyle, is the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Decatur.  We have two children, Ava Grace and Hudson. They are the joy of my life! I enjoy traveling, volleyball, having fun with our children, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. I absolutely love our students, staff, parents, and the entire community at Midtown Elementary. At Midtown we work together as we soar to success! Go Wildcats!
