About Me

Hello! I am originally from Quebec, Canada. I grew up in a French community just outside the nation's capital, Ottawa. I first came to the United States to play in a beach volleyball tournament and soon moved to California after obtaining my Degree in Education. Although Alabama has been home for the last 15 years, and is where I have grown the most in my profession, I have also had the opportunity to live and teach in a variety of different places, such as Guam, Belgium, Denmark, and Colorado. Both my youngest children were born in Belgium and during my time there I earned my Master's degree in Psychology. Together, my husband Mark and I have four amazing kids, and one precious granddaughter.  

My hobbies and interests include spending time with family, especially at the beach, traveling, cooking with my husband, (who am I kidding—he cooks, I eat) and my new hobby—golf! I also enjoy gardening and interior decorating.

For the last ten years, I have been blessed to be a Madison City Schools teacher. It is here at MCS that I have truly developed my love for teaching mathematics, and my passion for students to deepen their conceptual understanding of math. I am very proud to be the Math Coach at Journey Middle School. And, I am grateful to work with an amazing group of teachers and staff.
