Hallo und Willkommen! My name is Eva Clifton, and I am excited about teaching German at Journey Middle School. I am a native German speaker and was born in Frankfurt, Germany. I speak English, German, and some Spanish and French. I grew up living in Brazil, the United States, India, and Germany. I completed my undergraduate studies (B.S. in International Business) in Germany (Reutlingen University) and my Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at Portland State University. I also completed my Master's in Education from Johns Hopkins University while living and teaching in Maryland. My passion has always been teaching, and I have been fortunate that my career has allowed me to stay within Education.  

Outside of teaching, I am busy with my family, gardening, and yoga. I am married with 2 children, dogs and cats. We have lived in Madison since 2019. As a family, we enjoy going for walks, bike rides, and going to the beach or pool.

I look forward to teaching German at Journey Middle School. I love teaching languages and am excited about bringing the German language and culture to the classroom.
