Welcome to Kindergarten! 

I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Midtown Elementary School this year! I grew up in a small town in Indiana and attended Ball State University for my bachelor's degree. Upon graduating, I moved and began my teaching career in Houston, TX. I taught kindergarten for 2.5 years there and fell in love with it! I enjoy making learning fun and exciting in the classroom, being colorful and silly with the little ones, and watching them learn and grow SO much throughout the school year. I hope that my classroom can be a welcoming, happy, and safe place for all! 

When I am not teaching, I love being outdoors, working out, going shopping at the local thrift stores, and trying new things around town with my husband. Some of my favorite things include sour candy, pink and bright colors, flavored sparkling water, and sweet notes of encouragement. My favorite places to eat are Chicken Salad Chick, Culver's, and Starbucks.
