Hello! My name is Mrs. Curtis, and I’m so excited to be joining the Midtown Elementary community. This is my fourth year in education, and I’ve had the joy of teaching kindergarten and second grade! Before becoming a certified teacher, I taught preschool for five years and was a camp counselor at Space Camp! I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University in 2022. I am currently working on my masters at the University of Alabama- Roll Tide!!

I am a graduate of Madison City Schools, attending Heritage, Liberty, and James Clemens! Fun Fact: I am a record holder at James Clemens :) 

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me playing soccer, sitting outside in my hammock, or spending time with my husband, Brandon. I am an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and love all things space related! 

It is going to be a wonderful year full of learning and laughter! First Grade at Midtown Elementary is out of this world! Go Wildcats! 🐾
