  • You may visit any of the Huntsville - Madison County Libraries for access to a computer.

     

  • No. The law requires that a complete background check be done through the State Department of Education in Alabama. 

  • The Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 requires that you sign a form allowing us to check your criminal history with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We also require a fingerprint check. 
     
    The background check is not required until you are officially hired by the Board of Education. You will be notified of the correct procedure to follow at that time.

  • All you need to do is to fill out the application itself. 
     
    Please do NOT submit any photos, copies of driver's licenses, social security cards, TB tests, or transcripts. You may scan those into your online application, but we do not retain paper copies in the office. Everything is now online.

  • If you are applying for a position, you need three (3) letters of reference from your most recent employers or others who know your qualifications. In your online application, you must provide (3) email addresses for us to contact those references.
