ALSDE Resolution

The Alabama State Board of Education commends the 2026 Purple Star Class, including the Madison City School System, for supporting military families. It proclaims April 15, 2026, as Purple Up Day to celebrate the state's military community.

Purple Star Program Resolution

This resolution outlines Madison City Schools' commitment to military-friendly practices. It highlights the use of school liaisons, peer-led Student2Student programs, and dedicated web resources to support transitioning students.

Month of the Military Child Resolution

The Madison City Schools Board of Education designated April 2026 as "Month of the Military Child". It honors the sacrifices of military students and encourages the community to "Purple Up" on a designated day to show visible support for these families.
