Hello! My name is Wende Tate and I am your child's third grade teacher! This will be my second year at Columbia as a math and science teacher. I love sharing my passion for math and science with your student. I enter each year of teaching with enthusiasm and innovative ideas that will help ensure successful academic growth for your child. I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with exciting and challenging learning experiences.

After a few years in the corporate sector, my passion for education couldn't be ignored any longer. I decided to pursue my passion and obtained my teaching degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

I grew up in Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. My husband is a Huntsville native and we settled here in 2014. We live in Madison and have loved our time in the area. In my free time I love to write, read, craft, bake, and cook. I also love spending time with my friends and family. I promise to love your child and set high expectations for them to exceed this year. I can't wait to partner with you to help them grow!
