I grew up in Madison, Alabama. I am a graduate of Bob Jones High School!  I moved to Athens, Alabama in September 2005 when my husband and I married. My husband's name is Greg. We have a wonderful daughter, Addie. We have a goldendoodle named Hazel, chickens, goats and cows. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I love being outside, reading and shopping.  

I have worked here at Columbia since the opening in 2004. I taught kindergarten from 2011-2022. I made the move to second grade in 2022 and love teaching second grade! I have a passion for teaching and love watching children grow! I look forward to being your child's teacher.  I hope that we can partner together to celebrate the progress and achievements that this exciting year will bring.
