Welcome! I'm happy to be teaching your child this year! The 24-25 school year will be my 32nd year teaching. I am originally from Huntington, West Virginia. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Marshall University in 1992 and my master's degree in Literacy in 2023. I lived in Charlotte from 1992 until 1994, and Concord, North Carolina until 2011. I live in Madison with my husband, Brian. My older son, Nick, lives in Tennessee.  My other son, Jacob, is a graduate assistant at Troy University. I have four stepdaughters. Lexie lives in Gadsden, Hayley and Emily live in Huntsville, and Jordan lives in Texas. I also have three grandchildren!
