I have been married to my husband, David Hyde, for over 30 years. We have 3 children. Austin is a high school math teacher and serves in the Army National Guard. Curran works in cyber security research in Huntsville, and our daughter, Hailey, is sonography school at Wallace State. We have been members at Madison Church of Christ for over 25 years, where I have served as a chaperone for various youth group events over the past 10+ years. My first career was in Respiratory Therapy. I worked in the hospital setting for over 10 years. After staying home with my children when they were babies, I decided on a career change and went back to school to get my degree in Special Education. I have a degree in Collaborative Education K-6 from Athens State University. I have been working in the Special Education Self-Contained setting for over 14 years.
