Madison City Schools welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please contact your Central Office at 256-464-8370. If you need to find out which school your child will attend, please use the School Locator to look up the attendance boundaries for your address. 

  • School-age children who reside within Madison City School Zone may be admitted to Madison City Schools. The residence of the student will be the residence of the custodial parent or legal guardian. Look up your address using this link to see if you are zoned Madison City Schools.

    • Alabama Immunization Record
    • Photo ID of enrolling parent/guardian
    • Custody Documentation (if applicable)
    • Transcript or Most Recent Report Card
    • Proof of Residency:
      • Own - Submit current property tax receipt or deed in your name for the residence along with a current utility bill or receipt for start of service for gas, water, or electric service... NO CABLE or CELL PHONE BILLS
      • Rent – Submit current lease or a month-to-month lease that reflects your name, lease terms, address and signature page must be signed by the landlord and tenant along with a current utility bill or receipt for start of service for gas, water, or electric service... NO CABLE or CELL PHONE BILLS
      • Sales Contracts - Those who have a contract or builder's contract (with an estimated closing date) on a home are REQUIRED to complete a Sales Contract Transfer Request form. 
  • What if I forget my password?

    • Click the “Forgot password” link below the “Sign In” button
    • You will have two options for recovering your password.
      • Email (Temporary Password): Follow the step by step instructions to get a temporary password link sent to your email  from noreplyregistration=powerschool.com@regmail.powerschool.com
      • Online (By Answering Security Questions) : Answer the security questions correctly to reset the password to a recent one.
    • In case you have not received the temporary password, please check the spam/junk folders of your email address. 

     

  • All enrollment applications are submitted online.  If you need assistance, please call 256-464-8370.

  • If the “Submit” button on the Summary page is a faded-blue instead of a bright-blue, this means that there is something on the form that is preventing you from submitting it. This could be caused by a required field that is missing information or a field with information entered in an invalid format. You will need to correct these fields before you are able to submit your form.

    Follow these steps to resolve:

     

    1. Navigate to the Summary page and review your form.
    2. Find pages with status is colored in red.
    3. Navigate to the pages those errors are in and edit the fields.

    The newly introduced Summary Page within the Enrollment helps users easily locate any missing or incorrect information on the form.
     

    The summary page provides a list of pages available on the form. It also indicates any missing or incorrect information on those pages.  If a page has at least one error indicated, this error must be resolved in order to submit an Enrollment form.

    The ‘Page’ column describes the individual form page that contains the missing or incorrect information and the ‘Status’ column displays the number of invalid field(s) within that page that need to be reviewed.

     

    You should be able to access an incomplete page either by using its corresponding row within the table on the Summary page, or by using the ‘Find Invalid Fields’ button. Accessing a page via its row in the Summary page table will take you directly to the first invalid item on that page. The ‘Find Invalid Fields’ button will direct you to the first item on the first page within the form that requires your attention.

     

    Pages with no invalid items will be marked by a green checkmark in the ‘Status’ column. Once all required fields are correct, the ‘Status’ column within the Summary page table will display green checkmarks for all pages, and the form will be ready for submission.
