Hello! My name is Mrs. Klemmer. I am one of Columbia's English Language Learner teachers. My family and I moved to the Huntsville area in June 2025, so this is my first year in the Madison City School District! 

I was a 5th grade classroom teacher in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, before moving to Alabama. I have 10 years of experience as a classroom teacher, as well as several years of experience as a literacy paraprofessional. I have a bachelor's degree in communications, a master's degree in elementary education, and an English to Speakers of Other Languages teaching endorsement. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our adult children, reading fiction, playing pickleball and tennis, watching tennis, hockey, and football, being at the beach, and playing board games.
