My name is Madi Spurgeon and I am so excited to be one of Horizon's Math Coaches this year! I will serve and support all Kindergarten - Third Grade teachers! 

 

In April 2016, I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Go Gamecocks! I am currently pursuing my Masters at the University of West Alabama in Elementary Education.

 

I grew up in Madison, Alabama and I have been a part of Madison City since I started school. I attended Horizon Elementary, Rainbow Elementary, Discovery Middle, and graduated from Bob Jones. It is great to give back to a school system that helped make me who I am today! During my free time, you can find me hiking on a mountain or spending time by the pool. I will go anywhere to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! I am so excited to be a part of the Horizon Eagle Family. I cannot wait to meet you and have a fun year of learning and growing together!
