Bio

  I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher; When I graduated high school, I moved to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama…Roll Tide! I majored in elementary and special education and couldn’t wait to have a classroom of my very own. I am LETRs Certified, trained in Orton Gillingham Reading and Math, and have gone through the Youth Mental Health Training. I have taught each grade level and especially love working with the little ones! My husband and I have three children. They certainly keep me on my toes and there is never a dull moment in the Ruh house! . I couldn’t be happier to call myself a Horizon Eagle and be a part of this wonderful school, community, and family.
