Welcome to 1st Grade!

Hi! I'm Mrs. Crystal Davy, a native Louisianan. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. I have over 20 years of classroom teaching experience in first, second, third, and fifth grade. I taught for many years in the Houston area before relocating to Madison City. My husband and I have two wonderful little girls who keep us both smiling and busy. I enjoy exercising (mostly HIIT and weight lifting), reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my awesome family and friends.

I'm super EXCITED to teach another year of fabulous first-graders at Horizon! Throughout the year, I look forward to working together with parents to ensure a successful, memorable year for students.
