My name is Jermahn K. Durham. This is my 10th year teaching at Horizon Elementary. I began my teaching career as a fifth grade teacher in 2007. I'm excited to announce that I will be teaching 4th grade again this year. I earned my bachelor's and master's degree from Alabama A&M University. 

I am originally from St. Louis, MO. I arrived in Huntsville, AL in 1998 when I began my educational journey at Alabama A&M University.

I have been happily married to my wonderful wife Tamika for 16 years. We are proud parents of our three sons, Kyree, Camden, and Chase. In my spare time, I enjoy reading children's books, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I enjoy teaching and inspiring children to reach their fullest potential. I am looking forward to working with each and every child and parent.
