Hi, my name is Shamelle Samuels. I am super excited about beginning another new year as a Horizon Eagle! Kindergarten is a wonderful grade, where eager young learners are ready to conquer new challenges and begin to gain a love for learning. It has been my pleasure for the past 16 years to be part of such a memorable milestone.  My passion for teaching stems from a family of educators. It has always been my desire to be a teacher for being learners. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, and fishing as a relaxing pastime. I truly adore my family, which allows me to help create a loving classroom family with my kiddos. It is very important to make our learning spaces comfortable and safe, in order for our students to perform at their absolute best!

I'm looking forward to an awesome year and meeting my new wonderful little friends:-)
