B.S. in Elementary Education

Ms. Brittany Morris

My career in Madison City Schools system began as a substitute for a year before Rainbow Elementary hired me as their Extended Day director. I then took on the role of working with a small group of students in a special-education inclusion setting. I remained there for 2.5 years and created very close bonds with the both kids and faculty members that I keep to this day! I truly believe it helped me become a more patient and understanding teacher.

I was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida and moved to Madison, Alabama all the way back in 1997.  As the kids would say, "wow, that was a LONG time ago." Madison has been a wonderful place to grow up and learn.

I currently live at home with my parents as a caretaker and "gopher". My father was diagnosed with cancer five years ago, but is thankfully continuing to respond well to treatment.  I also have two wonderful rescue babies: Heinz and Woodley (not pictured). They are the most peculiar dogs you'll ever know, and I'll talk about them frequently to the kids.

When I'm not working I'm spending time reading, playing computer games, and watching movies! I love to talk all things entertainment!
