Campus Clean Up
Would you like to help keep Horizon looking awesome? Join Horizon's Campus Clean Up Club! We will meet once a week to pick up trash and clean an area of the school.
One will meet on Wednesday mornings at 7:10 a.m. with Mrs. Bero. The afternoon section will meet with Mrs. Warnell during the Expanded Day time after school (just for students who participate in Expanded Day.)
If your child will be in the morning section, it will be important to bring your child on time, so that we can leave our book bags in Mrs. Bero's classroom and go out to the campus to clean up.
We will meet rain or shine. If it is raining, we will work inside on art projects to encourage the student body to be neat or recycle, etc. Club will end at 7:35 so students can get to class before the 7:40 bell.
Equipment needed: I have extra gloves to share, but your child is welcome to bring or wear his/her own. I also have trash bags. Closed toe shoes preferred.
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 7 at 7:10. Mrs. Bero will meet the students at the south door (the regular entry door.)
Hosted by Mrs. Bero and Mrs. Warnell
This club is designed to bring our students closer to Jesus Christ by teaching and practicing everyday truths from His Word. FCA is a voluntary club. We will meet, pray, read from the word of God, fellowship with other believers, and hear a lesson presented by a local minister. Our goals are to demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately, and publicly, to model Jesus' example of serving, to express our unity in Christ in all relationships, and to honor and glorify God in all we do. This group is non-denominational and only focuses on the basic truths found in the Bible.
