WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE!!!!

My name is Michele White. I was born and partly raised in Newark, Delaware. I attended the University of Alabama, but I graduated from Athens State University in 2002. I began teaching at Heritage the same year! I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design in 2007. I was also the Director for the Dyslexia Institute of Huntsville.

I feel truly blessed to do a job that I am passionate about. I will only have your child for a short time so I want to make a positive impact in your child’s education that will last a lifetime.

Classroom community begins here! I know my teaching must begin with making students feel at home in the classroom and helping all the students come together in a learning community.  This community is made up of unique individuals, each with his/her own learning style, strengths, hopes, and dreams!
