I graduated from Freed Hardeman University with a BA in Music and a Masters in Education.  I have been teaching music in Madison City elementary schools since 2010.

I love teaching music!  Our classes consist of singing, playing instruments, moving, learning to read music, learning about various cultures and even some writing of our own compositions!  One of my favorite things is including children's literature into our music classes.

 I am married and have a son in college studying music composition and a daughter in college studying nursing.
