Hi, my name is Suzanne Curry.  I have a BS degree in Elementary Education from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I will be starting graduate school at UNA via their online program at the end of August. I have over 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of fields. I have taught overseas, in Tennessee, and now Alabama.   

I have a wonderful husband, Jim, who is an IT Consultant.  We have a beautiful daughter, Cate, who is a freshman at The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina.  We have 2 rescue dogs, Frances and Charlie.  I love to read, write, and compose piano music when I get the chance.  I really enjoy organizing Yard Sales (I think because I always wanted my own little store), and I am a big fan of HGTV.  

Working with children and families is one of my greatest joys.  It is important to me that children and families feel a sense of community and belonging in my room.

I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten!  It is a great honor to be present when young minds are learning and demonstrating that learning.  Spending my day with children is the best!
