Hi there! I’m Leslie Pinkerton, and I’m so excited to be part of the Mill Creek family. I’ve been teaching for seven years now, and I’ve had the chance to work with kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Every year is a new adventure, and I love getting to know each of my students and helping them grow.

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and I went on to get my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher—ever since I was a little girl—and I feel so lucky to be living that dream every day!

My goal as a teacher is to help my students grow not only as learners but also in their confidence. I want every child to feel proud of their progress and capable of tackling new challenges with excitement and belief in their abilities.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband, Robby, and our daughter, Millie. I love organizing and shopping!

I’m really looking forward to this school year and can’t wait to see all the amazing things we’ll accomplish together!
