Hi Everyone!

My name is Lyndsay Burns, and I teach 5th Grade ELA here at Mill Creek Elementary. I absolutely love being a part of the Mill Creek family! I have a passion for reading, and I am so excited that I get to share this passion with my students! I graduated from Athens State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and a specialization in English Language Learners. I was born and raised in the city of Madison, and I absolutely love it! Madison City is my home! I attended Madison City Schools my entire life. I started out at Horizon Elementary, then I finished my elementary school years at Heritage Elementary. I then went on to attend Liberty Middle School, then Bob Jones High School, and finally, I graduated from James Clemens High School! The fact that I get to teach where I grew up, means so much to me!
