My name is Coach Klein.  I have been teaching in Madison City Schools for 20 years! I love teaching P.E. at Mill Creek Elementary! I've also taught at Columbia Elementary and Discovery Middle. In addition to teaching, I am also the head archery coach! I pioneered the archery program now adopted by most of the schools in the district!

I graduated in 2000 from Athens State University with a Bachelor's degree in education.  I also have a Master's degree in Psychology/Counseling.  Currently, I am pursuing National Board Certification. The scores will be released in December (fingers crossed)!  Obtaining these degrees has helped me become a better teacher and has given me the tools and resources to help my students perform at a higher level. 

I was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois. I moved to Alabama in the summer of 1997. It was definitely a culture shock!  I still enjoy going back to visit in October every year but can't imagine moving back! 

In addition to having a dachshund named McKenzie, I am the PROUD biological mother of Graecyn and Paetyn! They are my pride and joy and MY BIGGEST accomplishment!  We enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and with family and friends!  Kayaking and "glamping" are two of our new favorite things to do!
