Mrs. Abbott

  • Hello! My name is Virginia Abbott, and I am excited to be one of the Special Education teachers at Mill Creek!

    I graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in January 2019 with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. Additionally, I studied Opera and Musical Theatre during my time there.

    I began my teaching career at Calera Elementary School in 2019. Since then, I've had the pleasure of working in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Alabaster City Schools. Recently, my husband Jacob and I relocated back to Huntsville.

    We have a wonderful one-year-old son and two energetic boxer/pit bull dogs at home.

    I look forward to meeting you this year and collaborating to help all students achieve their goals!
