I grew up in Oregon and when I started teaching it was at the same elementary school I attended! I was transplanted to the South when my husband's job moved us here almost 20 years ago! We live in Madison and have two kids, who both attended school in Madison and at Mill Creek! I love traveling to new places, hiking, being with my  family and taking pictures. One of my favorite things about teaching is watching students' excitement as it helps them grow and develop a love for learning!
