I am excited about getting started on another school year!  What an honor and privilege it is to be the principal at Mill Creek. I had the privilege of teaching 6th grade English Language Arts at Mill Creek and served as the school’s MAAP for two years.  I also served as the assistant principal at Heritage Elementary for two years.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades. I graduated from the University of North Alabama with a BS in Elementary Education and an MA in Instructional Leadership.  

My wife, Randi, and I have been married for fifteen years.  We have two boys, Cooper and Rhett (3).  Randi is a 4th grade teacher at Central School, which is part of the Madison County School District.  In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, spending time at the beach, playing golf, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers!  War Eagle!

I want to continue building on the success that has already been established here. My goals are to ensure that our students achieve academic success and that they are part of a healthy and safe school environment. I look forward to another year of working with the students, faculty, and the community of Mill Creek.
