• Heritage Elementary and Columbia Elementary school were recognized as two of the four national finalists for the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) Student 2 Student (S2S) Outstanding Team Award.

    Heritage and Columbia are standouts for providing new students a warm welcome.
    The S2S program exemplifies the following five core values; leadership, academics, service, campus culture, and building relationships.Madison City School district values its continued partnership with MCEC and providing support to all students.
    The entire community is honored by this national recognition and they are proud of Heritage and Columbia Elementary.

    Bob Jones High School S2S Leaders Invited to USMA at West Point for Leadership Conference

    The Military Child Education Coalition invited Student 2 Student members Adrienne Hyams, from left, Grace Finlay, Shaniya Jacobs-Lanier and Alecia Walker from Bob Jones High School to a West Point leadership program. MCS is extremely proud of these talented school leaders and we are excited for this wonderful opportunity.

    Elementary Student to Student

    Elementary Student 2 Student (eS2S) is designed to increase awareness of and address school transitions affecting mobile elementary school students through a faculty-led and student-engaged model. The eS2S program hosts events for new and military-connected students.  For more information about the eS2S program at your child's school, please contact the school counselor.

    Junior Student 2 Student

     

     

     Student 2 Student (S2S) is a middle school and high school level student program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, create a positive environment, support academic excellence and ease transitions. Our S2S program is designed with the middle school student in mind, provides all that the high school teams do, but on an age appropriate level.  For more information about the S2S program at your student's school, please contact the front office.
