    The goal of the Finance Department is to dedicate the financial resources necessary to achieve the Madison City School District's vision while utilizing the best management practices to ensure fiscal responsibility.

    The Madison City Finance Department monitors the Board's finances while adhering to the appropriate accounting standards as well as the Board's policies. The Finance Department performs the following functions for the Madison City Board of Education:
