Hi! 

My name is Lauren Kilgore, and I teach kindergarten at Horizon! My husband and I are from Birmingham, and we moved to Madison 6 years ago. We have three kids who also attend Horizon and love being Horizon Eagles. We also have three fur babies at home, two cats and a dog. 

I recieved my undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Go Blazers!), and I have my Master's Degree in Gifted Education from Samford University. I have taught preschool, 2nd, 4th, and 3rd-4th gifted. This is my 9th year teaching. 

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family, read, and work on crafts/house projects.
