• The last day of school for the 2024-2025 Current School Year is on May 21, 2025.

     

    If you are registering a child for the last few days of the 2024-2025 school year, please contact Madison City Schools Central Office, Latwan Corprew @ 256-464-8370.

     

    Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School Year will open in late May.

    **** Please do not enroll for preschool until you have received notification from the preschool that your child has been accepted into the program.

     

    State law requires that students are to be 5 on or before September 1st* of the new school year to enroll in kindergarten. 
    Also, state law requires that students are to be 6 on or before December 31st of the current school year, to enroll in first grade. 

     All registration for Madison City Schools is done exclusively online by the legal parent/legal guardian.

    *An opinion of the Attorney General states in effect that under the common law one’s age is computed by including the day of birth so that a given age is attained the day before the birthday anniversary.
