Hello!  My name is Elana Brister, and I'm thrilled to be the music teacher at MES and West Madison PreK Center.  This is my 8th year teaching elementary music and my 21st year in education.  I'm a graduate of the University of Alabama where I was a section leader and drum major for the "Million Dollar Band."  I believe that music should be fun, whether we're singing, playing instruments, dancing or creating.  I live in Madison with my husband and three children. We love to play games and watch movies together.  Our family has two dogs and two cats.  In my spare time I like to read, try new recipes, and do yard work.
