• Students wishing to receive the Alabama Seal of Biliteracy must apply to their local school Seal of Biliteracy team and meet all the following requirements:

    • Successful completion of all high school graduation requirements
    • Demonstrate proficiency in one of the approved English language assessment options. See Options Table below.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more other languages via a benchmark score on an approved assessment
