JCHS Health Students Win Big At HOSA

Ashley Steinert, health science teacher at James Clemens High School, reports the following results by JC health students at the recent HOSA competition. HOSA stands for Health Occupations of Students of America and is a national student organization that helps prepare future health professionals..

In total, the JCHS HOSA Team had 30 total students in the Top 6, bringing home 9 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, 5 Bronze Medals, and 12 in the top 6.  "These students dedicate so much of their own time in excelling in these competitive events, and we are so proud of their achievements, and most importantly, how they represent our school and district," Ms. Steinert said. "JC HOSA is the place to be."
